Description

The Daphne Trouser features a high waist, a wide leg and comes with an optional ankle cuff to help you personalise to your own style. The ‘easy-fit’ construction method will also allow you to tailor the cut to your own body.

Skill level: Intermediate sewers

Sizing: Sizes 4 – 20 are included in this pattern. Our sizes run true to UK sizing – for full sizing details see below in the drop down menu.

Fit notes: These trousers have a high and fitted waist which flare out from the hips down to a wider leg. The pattern included a back dart and instructions on how to fit the style to your own body. It comes with 3 different length options and you can also choose between a full length trouser or an ankle cuff.

Construction techniques: Zip fly construction, one-piece waistband, patch pockets & cuff construction. 

Suitable fabrics: These trousers work well in mid-heavy weight denims and twills.

Fabric requirements:

Fabric width 150cm | Sizes 4 – 12 = 200cm | Sizes 14 – 20 = 235cm

Fabric width 110cm | Sizes 4 – 12 = 225cm | Sizes 14 – 20 = 265cm

Materials list: Self fabric, a small length of bias binding binding (optional), 18-20cm zip, 1 x button (around 2.5-3cm), thread, about 20cm of good quality fusing.
